Resources for New Employees

Welcome to Susquehanna Health! As the largest employer in the region, you have joined a team of over 3,200 skilled, dedicated, committed and compassionate service partners who play an integral role in helping us care for those in need. Below is detailed information on what to expect as a new service partner at Susquehanna Health.

All new employees attend Employee Health for a pre-employment screening. You will be updated on your immunizations, given a TB skin test, a urine drug and nicotine screening and physical evaluation (if applicable). Questions regarding immunizations or health records will be addressed at that time. Employee Health is located at Regional Medical Center.

Your First Day

All new employees begin their employment by attending Orientation. Orientation begins at 7 am on Monday and lasts until 3:45 pm. Please refer to your offer letter for specific information on the date, location and directions (pdf) for orientation. Lunch will be provided to you. Appropriate dress for orientation is business/casual and other guidelines for worktime clothing are provided in our Appearance Policy (pdf).

Policy Review
As part of your pre-hire orientation, we ask that you review commonly referenced policies for our organization.

Uniform Standards
You may be required to purchase uniforms for your position. Uniform standards vary depending on your work area and position.
