For nearly 20 years, the Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center has strived to create an atmosphere of comfortable reassurance and excellence in clinical outcomes. Today, the Center is highly regarded in our local and surrounding communities, as well as recognized #1 in the nation by Johnson & Johnson/ Ethicon division for innovative breast biopsy techniques resulting in less discomfort, quicker healing and minimal disfiguration.
According to Timothy J. Pagana, M.D., F.A.C.S., medical director of the Center and tournament host, this annual event has a threefold purpose. “First, it allows women throughout the region to contribute to the Center and help us continue to provide affordable breast health care; secondly, it is an opportunity for these women, many of whom have been treated at the Center, to contribute to our efforts to bring leading-edge technology to our Center, and finally, it allows all of us to honor those women who have survived breast cancer and to memorialize those courageous women who have lost their lives to this disease.”
If you know someone whose life has been affected by breast disease, special tournament sponsorships are available that give you the opportunity to recognize her with a gift made in her honor or memory.
