Family Medicine Residency Program

Family Medicine Residency Program , established in 1972, develops highly competent and compassionate family doctors through academic exchange in an atmosphere of respect, friendship and professionalism. The art and science of education are combined to ensure a rewarding experience that provides residents with a model for a life-long learning pattern of time for work, family, entertainment and intellectual growth. Many of our graduates have chosen to open their practices in the area served by Susquehanna Health.

Clinical Lab Science Program

The Clinical Lab Science Program is an important part of Susquehanna Health's educational activities and of the Laboratory department, graduating skilled professional medical technologists for over 35 years. Many graduates have accepted positions as clinical laboratory staff and participate in the program as instructors for current students. Faculty is actively involved in curriculum development and student evaluation, and they are very concerned with student development. In 2003, the program successfully completed the requirements for program accreditation and was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation by NAACLS for a seven-year period, the longest period for which a certification award is granted.
