Family Medicine Residency Program , established in 1972, develops highly competent and compassionate family doctors through academic exchange in an atmosphere of respect, friendship and professionalism. The art and science of education are combined to ensure a rewarding experience that provides residents with a model for a life-long learning pattern of time for work, family, entertainment and intellectual growth. Many of our graduates have chosen to open their practices in the area served by Susquehanna Health.

The Clinical Laboratory Science Program is an important part of Susquehanna Health's educational activities and of the Laboratory department, graduating skilled laboratory professionals for over 50 years. Many program graduates have accepted positions at Susquehanna Health as clinical laboratory staff and several participate in the program as instructors. Faculty is actively involved in curriculum development and student evaluation, and they are very concerned with student development. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects faster than average growth with total job openings to exceed 150,000 through 2014, and graduates enjoying increased salaries and incentives.

Visiting Professors Schedule - Susquehanna Health is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. The system designates CME activities in Category 1 of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Medical Society membership requirement.
