Your message to a patient is not confidential as it will be printed by staff and delivered by volunteers. Therefore to protect your privacy and the patient’s privacy, do not include information you do not want viewed by others.
Your Cheer Card will be delivered to current inpatients only and will not be forwarded to discharged patients. In these situations, we will safely discard your message. Cheer Cards are patient greetings only. Any other types of communication will not be delivered. Susquehanna Health reserves the right to delete incoming Cheer Cards deemed inappropriate or detrimental to our patients. Acceptance of a Cheer Card does not mean the intended recipient is now or was previously a patient at Susquehanna Health. To protect patient confidentiality, Susquehanna Health cannot confirm whether your message has been delivered or received by the patient.
