Contributions to Providence Health System Foundation are used to support and carry out the mission of the Sisters of Christian Charity Healthcare Corporation. This includes support for services provided at Divine Providence Hospital, Muncy Valley Hospital and other subsidiary organizations, or other non-profit health care providers that promote the health and welfare of the community.

Greatest Need

Used for the priority health care needs of our community.

Susquehanna Cancer Center

Supports the needs of cancer patients. Use of funds includes the purchase of state-of-the-art technology, patient educational materials, turbans and wigs for chemotherapy patients and support of the Susquehanna Cancer Center van service.

Susquehanna Home Care & Hospice

Supports services provided to homebound patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center

Supports comprehensive breast health services offered to the women of our community.

Hospitality Inn™

Provides free lodging for out-of-town family members of patients at Divine Providence Hospital and Muncy Valley Hospital.

Friends Acknowledging Nurses (FAN)

A special fund that supports the education and recognition of Susquehanna Health's top-quality nursing staff.

Mother Pauline

Funds are made available to Susquehanna Health employees experiencing a financial crisis.

Providence House

Serves women in crisis pregnancy by providing them a safe home and a healthy beginning for the new baby.

Sister Jean Mohl Nursing Award

Established in honor of Sister Jean Mohl, the first chairperson of Susquehanna Health's Board of Directors. Uses include an annual recognition award to a Susquehanna Health nurse and loan forgiveness grants to support nurses with their nursing education.

Muncy Valley Hospital

Supports specialized services at MVH through the purchase of equipment and technology as well as building upgrades and maintenance.

Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing

Helps sustain the services of the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Unit serving our elderly community.

Supports a variety of community-based outreach programs including LifeCenter™, Project S.H.A.R.E., SH Senior Centers and multiple community programs.

Hospitality Inn™

Provides free lodging for out-of-town family members of our patients at The Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center.

Cardiac Care

Supports the needs of cardiac patients.

Arthur R. Taylor, M.D. Endowment Fund for Continuing Medical Education

Will provide a financial gift each year to support the continuing medical education needs of Susquehanna Health physicians and staff, with a focus on primary care. Established to honor 32 years of Dr. Taylor's dedicated leadership as the founder of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
