Expanded PhysicianFinder™ Help Line

PhysicianFinder provides a link to the medical care you need; it is one way to get information about the area’s finest physicians. PhysicianFinder helps you find a doctor, whether you are a new resident and do not have a primary care doctor, or a longtime resident in need of a specialist or a family doctor. Remember that the best time to find a physician is before you need one. A physician who is familiar with your medical history is better prepared to treat you if you suddenly become ill or injured.

Call PhysicianFinder at (570) 321-2160 or 1-877-883-4789, Monday-Friday from 8:30 A.M.-12 P.M. and 1-4 P.M.; we will provide you with the names of doctors who are accepting new patients. When calling, be prepared to give our staff information about your medical needs, insurance information and your location so we can try to refer you to a doctor close to your home or work. Calls received after these hours will get a voice message asking callers to leave their name, phone number and inquiry so the call can be returned in a timely manner.
