The Clinical Laboratory Science Program is an important part of Susquehanna Health System's educational activities and of the Laboratory department, graduating skilled professional medical technologists for over 50 years. Many graduates have accepted positions as clinical laboratory staff and participate in the Program as instructors for current students. Faculty is actively involved in curriculum development and student evaluation, and they are very concerned with student development. In 2003, the Program successfully completed the requirements for program accreditation and was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation by NAACLS for a seven year period, the longest period for which a certification award is granted.
