To answer the special needs faced by women and children in our community, Susquehanna Helath has developed specific programs that provide education, specialized support and financial help to those in need.

We face new challenges as we grow older-from passing tests and fitting in at school in our adolescence, to managing a household in adulthood, to facing the world of hospitals, Medicare and uncertainty later in life. We've designed programs and services to help senior citizens take on their own challenges.

Senior Citizens Information Center-volunteers, who are senior citizens themselves, offer free advice and guidance. They cover insurance, taxes, transportation, prescription plans, how to choose a nursing home and other issues facing today's senior citizens.

Set in the Muncy community, the Skilled Nursing Unit offers security, comfort and a wide range of services to individuals needing specialized long term care and rehabilitation during short term stays.
