The Health Specialties Center, located on the Muncy Valley Hospital campus of Susquehanna Health System, is part of the Systems mission to provide services close to home for patients in the eastern part of Lycoming County. The Health Specialties Center is located on the Muncy Valley Hospital campus of Susquehanna Health System, 215 East Water Street, Muncy, PA. To enter the Center, please use the Entrance near the Emergency department.

Current services offered

Dermatology - Sabrina K. Dowd, M.D., provides Dermatology services the fourth Wednesday of every month by appointment through her office. For an appointment, call 321-3121.

Flu Vaccine - The flu vaccine program is traditionally held in October and November. Check local newspapers or call the Center for dates and times.

Orthopedic - John H. Bailey, M.D., provides Orthopedic services at the Health Specialties Center every Thursday by appointment through his office. To make an appointment, call 322-3640.

Ophthalmology - David M. Frey, M.D. provides Opthamology services at the Center by appointment. To make an appointment, call 326-8800.

Otolaryngology (Ears, Nose & Throat) - William W. Banks, M.D., provides Otolaryngology services every other Thursday morning by appointment through his office. To make an appointment, call 320-7474.

Hershey Outreach Clinic (Pediatric Orthopedic) - Lee Segal M.D., pediatric orthopedic specialist from Hershey Medical Center provides Orthopedic services for children with congenital Orthopedic problems, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy and other general specialty Orthopedic needs. Clinic is held six times a year. Appointments are scheduled through the Children's Development Center. A doctor's referral is preferred. For additional information call 325-0565.
