| Personal Info | A little about myself...I was born in Venezuela and have been in the United States since I was 5 years old. Ever since I was little, I always wanted to be a doctor. It was not until the end of my third year of medical school that I really knew that Family Medicine was my calling. Outside of medicine I love to hike, bike and fish with my husband and two dogs. I also love to read Sci-Fi and cultural fiction. | |
| Why Fam Med: | Family medicine has many qualities that attracted me. Most importantly, I love that I can provide continuity of care, see a wide spectrum of patients, and have great flexibility to choose what I want to focus on in the future. A family doctor can practice in a wide array of settings including inpatient, outpatient, hospice, and emergency room to name a few. These multiple options will allow me to pursue the lifestyle I am looking for. That’s the beauty of family medicine! Close This Window |
