Personal Info		I have a wonderfully supportive husband, Michael, who is not in medicine and is a great encourager. We moved here to his family’s hometown and enjoy spending time with extended family and our boxer puppy, Toby. I am a Christian and active in the bible study we have among some of the residents.
Why Fam Med:		I find it very fulfilling to provide and coordinate care in response to the needs of different generations of patients and their families. I really enjoy supporting my patients’ spiritual health, as well, and often have the opportunity to pray for or with my patients. I love walking out of a room having seen a two week old newborn and walking into see an 85 year old widow with diabetes, then seeing a young man for an acute rash. Family medicine is a great fit for me with the variety of patients and needs and the long-term relationships we can form. Close This Window
