Senior Citizens Information Centers at Divine Providence Hospital and Muncy Valley Hospital Closed As a result of the Lycoming County Office of Aging decision to bring Apprise Insurance Counseling under its direction, the Senior Citizens Information Centers at Divine Providence Hospital and Muncy Valley Hospital closed on December 17, 2009.

The Senior Citizens Information Center opened in 1990 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center after the Senior Advisory Board identified a need for a hospital-based volunteer run information center for seniors. The Center moved to Divine Providence Hospital in 2008. The Senior Citizens Information Center opened at Muncy Valley Hospital in 1997.

Susquehanna Health encourages seniors to visit the STEP Office of Aging, 2138 Lincoln Street, Williamsport or call 323-3096 for the following services:

• AARP Driver Safety Program registrations and payments
• PACE
• Property Tax and Rent Rebates
• Reduced Fee Auto Registration
• Information on local senior services
